AI ctivization

After starting my work with artificial intelligence, I realized the power and potential inherent in this tool. At the same time, the other side of the possibilities opened up horrified me. It is important to understand that AI itself and its capabilities do not have freedom of choice or intentions. They are based on the data that has been provided to them and are trained based on this data. If a neural network receives training data with the content of sexualized objectification, it can repeat or reproduce such patterns in its responses. However, this does not mean that AI supports or encourages such behavior.

With the help of artificial intelligence, I created teenage girls, trying to get closer to the style of amateur photography: a webcam effect, an underground snapshot, a photo from a questionnaire on a dating site. With pictures without a face, I emphasized anonymity. Thus, I push the viewer to be present and I want to show that the line between fiction and reality is almost erased.

Stopping the use of AI for unethical purposes is the message of this project. Ultimately, the competent and responsible use of AI is our common task. This is the essence of democracy.
